| MEEGWETCH PLACE TORONTO This project consists of 50 apartment units and 14 townhouses developed to house families and single people on marginal incomes. The apartment block, which overlooks a large public park, straddles two underground sewers. As a result, a covered patio with removable floor panels to access sewers at a future date, allows social activities in the adjacent lounge to spill outside during the summer months. Sunlit corridors accessing apartments are located on the second and fourth floors. Completed 1991 |
